Abstract
Quasi-optical systems and techniques have been the topic of research in the past decades. The field of feed is expanded into a set of sub-GBs based on Gabor frame expansion method and field tracing is through astigmatic Gaussian beam (GB) techniques. Single astigmatic GB reflection under arbitrary curved surface is successfully analyzed. Near-field scanning result of quasi-optical systems having two parabolic mirrors matching up to −50 dB below peak value has been verified. Numerical and experimental comparison reveal a good trade-off between the accuracy and the computational effort.
