Session Infomation

The study of electromagnetic scattering and propagation in complex environments plays an important role in the fields of remote sensing, communication, target detection and identification. This session mainly focuses on the following three topics. 1) The fundamental physics and numerical modeling of the interactions between environments and EM waves, including the new breakthroughs in EM scattering and propagation theory, acceleration algorithms, prediction of scattering and propagation properties based on artificial intelligence, etc. 2) New measurement techniques and their application in complex electromagnetic environments. 3) The applications of the EM scattering and propagation model, including SAR/ISAR imaging, radar echo characterization and extraction, complex environmental parameters inversion, target detection and identification, etc.
