Session Infomation

Beamforming is an effective technique for spatial multiplexing and signal-to-noise ratio improvement in communications. It is also a key technology in sensing, especially in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). This session will concentrate on the state of the art in beamforming, whether in the optical or RF domain. The topics include but not limited to optical antenna, optical phased array (OPA), LiDAR, optical beamforming network (OBFN), optical true time delay, multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO), Free-space optical (FSO) communication, etc.
