Session Infomation

Advanced optical and intelligent digital signal processing technologies, such as regeneration and amplification, wavelength conversion, impairment compensation, and machine learning techniques, have attracted intensive research attention, especially when advanced modulation formats are successfully applied in optical communication networks. The session is focused on recent advances in signal regeneration technology for advanced modulation formats, transmission impairment compensation through powerful optical or intelligent digital approaches, optical amplification over broadband operation or SDM systems, as well as signal processing through photonic or electronic neural networks.
